Background Check Requirement & Mandated Reporter Training
California AB 506 requires that all administrators, employees, and regular volunteers in California MUST have a background check completed as approved by the CA Department of Justice to exclude individuals with a history of child abuse.

All CLYLP volunteers at our programs will be required to complete a one-time Live Scan for CLYLP. CLYLP will provide direct instructions for and cover the cost of a volunteer's Live Scan.

Volunteers will also be required to complete an online staff training prior to participating at our programs.
​
Please note, Live Scans are not transferrable from another organization.
