CLYLP Students on the Bus Challenge!

July 18, 2012

Dear CLYLP Familia,

We are now half way through CLYLP summer programming, with the Sacramento Leadership Conference opening this Saturday.  Over 300 volunteers are working tirelessly to organize the best SLC yet. But we still need your help. All CLYLP high school programs are offered at no cost to students and their families with sponsorships and generous donations from the CLYLP familia. Help us raise $1,000 in 10 hours!

This Saturday (July 20th) students across the state will hop onto the CLYLP buses and head to Sacramento State University.  How much money can we raise online during this time? Our goal is to raise $1,000 during the students' 10 hour trip.

Can you help?

Two buses will leave Southern California, one from Riverside and the other from Santa Ana, at 7:00AM and will travel up the state picking up students from Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Tulare and Turlock. Both buses are scheduled to arrive in Sacramento at 5:00PM.

We'll keep you updated on the buses' progress!
