Accepting Applications: 31st Annual CLYLP Sacramento Leadership Conference and 14th Annual San Joaquin Valley Institute

The Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project (CLYLP) invites current 10th and 11th grade students to apply to the 31st Annual CLYLP Sacramento Leadership Conference and the San Joaquin Valley institute.

Students selected to participate attend at no cost to them or their families. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2013. Conference participants participate in powerful workshops and seminars that will enhance leadership skills, academic preparedness, self-esteem, cultural awareness, and provide an understanding of state and local government. Students have a unique opportunity to visit the California State Capitol to learn first-hand about the legislative process through mock hearings and personal interaction with state legislators and legislative staff.

This year, the application process will be completely online. Visit www.clylp.org. We encourage you to share notice of this application widely to your networks.
