Now that you’ve experienced our Summer Conference in Sacramento or the Institutes in Los Angeles or Fresno , you are a part of the CLYLP alumni familia and are eligible to also benefit from scholarship, fellowship and other leadership training program opportunities exclusively for alumni.  This unique set of resources are extended exclusively to CLYLP alumni to expand your learning experience, skill set, and network, which will fortify your ability to reach your educational and professional aspirations. These opportunities fortify the connection to the CLYLP.

CLYLP Application Reading Schedule
The Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project is pleased to announce several opportunities where you can get involved in the selection of the 2012 Sacramento Leadership Conference student participants. With more than 800 applications received from across California, we need your help to select the 120 future leaders that will comprise the Class of 2012.
If you are a CLYLP alumnus, working professional or just have a passion for the CLYLP (no high school students), please join us at one of the several student application reading sites below. To sign up or for more information about readings in your region, please contact the Regional Reading Chair in your area.

Sacramento Summer Leadership Conference
Staff applications for the 29th Annual Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project (CLYLP) Sacramento Leadership Conference are now being accepted. A team of support staff, peer counselors and facilitators will be selected to provide mentorship and supervision to one hundred twenty (120) applicants who will be selected to participate in the summer conference. To ensure full availability and accessibility for the student participants and conference team, all participating conference staff will be required to attend a mandatory orientation and stay on site in Sacramento for the duration of the conference. The application deadline for the CLYLP Sacramento Leadership Conference Staff is early May.
CLYLP Conference Alumni are encouraged to apply and be part of a special team committed to strengthening the network and capacity of “California’s Future Leaders!”
