Youth Summit
The Chicano/Latino Youth Leadership Project is excited to offer our alumni an exciting opportunity! We are partnering with two other youth organizations on a statewide Youth Summit, which will be held on April 16-18  in Los Angeles! The Summit will convene 250 of the California’s best and brightest students to serve as the delegation that will identify the major issues facing youth in the state. The end goal is to give young Californians from across the state an opportunity to be heard publicly about the issues that affect your daily lives and the future of the state and communicate these to our current and future policymakers.
To be eligible, you must either be in high school or in college, but no older than 18 years old. Additional information is attached. Please fill out the attached application and financial aid form by MARCH 26, 2010!
Please consider applying! It’s important that we recruit 50 CLYLP students and be adequately represented.
